MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – February 22, 2010 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Present: Jim Richard
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Jim Richard, Knox Trail Sno-Riders President asked the board if Tolland would not plow or sand all of or part of Belden Road or if not just cut back the roadside edges for snow vehicles. Jim is also asking if a snow pile could be left at the corner of Belden and East Otis Road so that wheeled vehicles would not use the road or at least post a sign stating “No Winter Maintenance”. Belden Road has a private residence located on it and has to be maintained. Operating a recreational or snow vehicle on a public way is prohibited by Mass. Gen. Law 90B Section 25. The Board will discuss the placement of the sign with the Highway Superintendent.
The Board voted on the following dates:
Town Caucus – Tuesday, April 27th at 7PM
Fiscal 2011 Budget Hearing – Tuesday, April 27th 7:15PM
Fiscal 2011 Annual Town Meeting – Wednesday, May 19th 7:30PM
Town Election – Monday, June 7th 4-8PM
Meeting adjourned at 6:30PM
